What if White people were the minority in America?

What would America be like if African Americans were the ruling class? What would television and every other aspects of America be like?

What would it be like if white people were experiencing racism?

The terms black and African American are used interchangeably in this article.

What If?

What would America be like if Black people were the ruling class?

White’s in America are the ruling class, but it may take years and decades to change about blacks.

What if the majority of television shows featured black casts?

What if all the commercials featured black characters?

What if the majority of the doctors were black?

What if most police officers were black, and it was the white people who were causing all the problems in America?

Statistically speaking, White people in America are becoming the minority, no longer are we the majority.

Remember that America is a nation mainly of immigrants – all of our ancestors came here from somewhere else.

What if it was White people who lived in the more inferior parts of every city?

What if it was mainly the white people who were committing many of the crimes?

What if it was the Black people fighting in the Civil War to ensure that White people were free and could vote?

What if Robert E. Lee had been black?

What if it were the White people who had been the slaves?

What if in the fifties and sixties the hospitals were blacks only, instead of whites only?

What if it was White fathers who had “the talk” with their sons?

“The Talk”

“The Talk” is a conversation African American parents have with their children, especially their sons, who live in America. The following are several examples of things black parents tell their children about interacting with police and society. If you are white, try to imagine what this would be like for you!

Don’t wear a hoodie. Don’t try to break up a fight. Don’t talk back to cops. Don’t ask for help. But they’re all variations of a single theme: Don’t give them an excuse to kill you.

Treat the police the same way he would a Klansman because they were often the same in parts of the south. Interact with them as little as possible. If you ever get stopped for a traffic violation: Use your Sunday school manners, and keep your hands visible, and above all else, do not argue.

Ask the police before you reach for your license. Ask the law for permission to get your insurance card and registration from the glove compartment. Do not answer any questions. Provide items requested.

Another man described, my son, and I were getting out the car at the shopping mall, the police approached him and asked him: “Did you just leave the mall?” I intervened. I instructed my son to “never, ever answer a question from the police.” Ask the police: “Am I free to go?” Do not answer any questions. Be polite. Be cordial. But never answer any questions. Keep asking: “Am I free to go?” “Am I under arrest?” “What are the charges?” “May I make a phone call?” However, do not dart. Do not get smart-alecky. Do not run. If the police start swinging, drop to the ground, protect your head and vital organs by curling up in a ball on your knees.

My God, this explains so many things!

Walking on Eggshells

Black people have to walk on eggshells everywhere they go practically. And so, this should help White America to understand better Why America IS where it is!

Here is a link that talks about everyone who has some form of racism, whether they recognize and acknowledge it or not.

In looking at much of what blacks learn about the police, it would appear that blacks often have acted and reacted in ways that have caused the police to behave in the ways they have. Why else would they behave as they do?

Cause and effect?

The “N” Word

My grandparents were from Arkansas, and I must admit that I did hear the “N” word occasionally as I child. Usually, in a phrase like “N’ toes or an “N’ rig.

I have heard that some black people even call each other by that name, affectionately, but get upset when white people use the word.

They fail to understand that their parents and grandparents have been trying to get that word eliminated from American culture, and they are still using it.

If you don’t want white people to use it, take the hint yourself and quit using it.

I think many people would agree it is time to retire the “N” word!

Systemic Racism

Systemic racism is both a theoretical concept and a reality. As a theory, it is premised on the research-supported claim that the United States was founded as a racist society. Racism is thus embedded in all social institutions, structures, and social relations within our society. Rooted in a racist foundation, systemic racism today comprises intersecting, overlapping, and codependent racist institutions, policies, practices, ideas, and behaviors that give an unjust amount of resources, rights, and power to white people while denying them to people of color.

I grew up in one parent, middle-class home.

As I got older, the systemic racism that society had taught me began showing itself. One day as I was driving, I was passed by a car filled with black kids. A vehicle with white kids would have produced no thought in me. But the idea that instantly popped into my head when their car passed me was, “I wonder what kind of trouble they’re going to get into.” They’re probably going to go rob a store somewhere.”

I don’t know where the thought came from; it just came.

Why was I thinking differently about this car filled with black teenagers?

I had a friend growing up who was black and was never treated wrong when I was with him. He and I were good friends for a time, and then I think he or I moved and we lost touch. I think he was going to a different school. I heard years after we graduated, he had become a store manager at a local grocery store.

I don’t remember being taught anything about blacks in the school other than just basic history stuff.

Our History

There are many in America today trying to rewrite our history, including many in the Democratic Party.

Every country has a past and some, a lot of shed blood. Those events have made us into who we are today the good and the bad.

Abraham Lincoln may have been a great president, but he didn’t believe blacks deserved equality with whites.  The Emancipation Proclamation didn’t free all enslaved people, as some have supposed.

How is toppling these statues going to help us move forward? Tearing down statues does not change American History, nor does it help improve our current situation. It offends American’s some of whom have fought for the freedom these protesters are enjoying!

I have never wanted to be in law enforcement. Still, I have always heard that you should become a law enforcement officer if you tried to commit a murder legally. Sadly with so many people now having the ability to capture video on their phones and how police are treating blacks, this appears to be a true statement.

I know there are police academies throughout America, and background checks. Are future officers tested to see if they have a bias against people of color?

Our court systems are attempting to prosecute these officers, but this is a slippery slope.

Our court systems need the help of law enforcement to put criminals behind bars, and there is some apprehension in some courts about prosecuting police.

How could we weed out all the crooked cops police?

Bad Teachers & Bad Law Enforcement Officers

America’s educational system certainly hasn’t been able to rid itself of bad teachers. Isn’t that why we have the PTA?

If this organization was genuinely working, why are so many children failing in school?

Suppose law enforcement officers do not police themselves and rid themselves of bad officers. In that case, they will bring their whole departments down, and that is what we see happening across America.

The black community has believed if they had blacks as police chiefs, some of these problems would go away. The police chief in Minneapolis is black! Still the problem persists.

As long as the police and teachers’ unions protect these kinds of people, we will never get rid of them!

Maybe the public should create its own “List” of bad cops and bad teachers and explore the same tactics law enforcement officers employ.

Law Enforcement Escalations

Our government has a history of escalating conflicts, to justify the use of force.

Let’s face it, men with a gun will like to hurt or kill something once their adrenaline kicks in.

In February of 1993, our government escalated what had been a relatively peaceful situation into one that wasn’t. The Branch Davidians didn’t escalate the conflict, Law enforcement did!

Timothy McVeigh was a former member of the Army, honorably discharged in 1991. A conflict at Ruby Ridge and the one in Waco Texas finally set him off. He decided to bomb the Federal Building in Oklahoma City. McVeigh was also a racist, so not the best example to use here, but the point is our law enforcement use excessive force when they decide to. Period!

How do we fix America?

Can we fix America?

Why are police officers jumpy when they approach a vehicle?

Finding no answer online, I came up with one my own.

When a policeman/woman pulls someone over, they cannot always see everything in your vehicle. If you were out of your car standing, they would have a full view of you. But in your car, they don’t.

In a traffic stop, I am asked for two things: my driver’s license, which most people have in their wallet or purse, and your vehicle registration, which should be in your glove box.

Suppose I reach anywhere else without telling the officer what I am doing. In that case, this might cause an officer to be jumpy.  Add to this, some cars today have tinted windows, so this further prevents law enforcement from seeing into a vehicle.

Even though the driver’s and passenger side windows are supposed to allow police to look into the vehicle, some cars have completely blocked out the windows.

I guess the reality of much of this is that I can never know what it is like to have a constant feeling of suspicion until I can walk in the shoes of a black person.

Oprah Winfrey was asked to leave a store once in Switzerland because the clerk did not think she could afford the handbag she wanted to purchase. The clerk did not know who she was!

I’ve heard of other cases where people are followed in a store simply for the color of their skin. Shopping while black.

Why do police shoot to kill instead of just wounding someone?

Back to the earlier statements—police officers are not taught to kill anyone, nor are they trained to “wound” anyone. Officers do not aim for hands, feet, knees, firearms, knives, etc. Instead, during a deadly force confrontation—when lives are at stake—officers are taught to shoot center mass, meaning the center of their intended target. If all they see is the suspect’s head, then that is their target. If they see the entire body, they then aim for its center (center mass).

Why aim for center mass? It is the most massive available target, and easiest to hit when under extreme duress during an incident that sometimes happens within a fraction of a second.

Shoot to kill or to wound? The answer may surprise you.

How did police and law enforcement procedures develop?

These kinds of policies develop over time and change depending on the situation and what needs to happen.

How do we change law enforcement? Patiently and carefully through introducing new ideas and ways of doing things. Law enforcement will have to be better at working with communities to hold bad officers accountable, which means moving the police unions out of the way if by force if necessary. Police are allowed to lie when questioning a suspect, which can make their job more efficient. If an officer leads a suspect to believe someone implicated them in a crime, they may confess quicker. Simultaneously, a person with a guilty conscience might confess to something they didn’t do.

10 Ways Police can legally lie to you:

  1. They can lie about having physical evidence
  2. Police can trick you into giving them your DNA
  3. Police officers can provide mock tests to “prove your guilt.”
  4. Police may lie about have an eyewitness
  5. Police can lie about recording your conversation
  6. Police can lie about having an accomplice’s confession
  7. The law will try to imply that your refusal to cooperate will be damaging to your case
  8. Police can lie about what will happen to other people
  9. They will lie about wanting to help you out
  10. Police may ignore my request for a lawyer

Pt. 2

If police lie, how can we know what is truth?

In the past, some officers have been caught on camera unbeknownst to them and lied about shootings. If it hadn’t been for the fact that someone had seen them on camera, we might never have known the truth.

What happens when white people become a minority in America?

Minorities are gaining on whites, but it will take at least another hundred years before blacks and Hispanics are a ruling class in America.

Hispanic and Latino Americans are the largest ethnic minority, with roughly 17.8% of the U S A population. The total white population is 61.3% and African Americans. Blacks in America make up 12 to 15%, depending on where you’re looking.

What these numbers show is Latinos outnumber African Americans in America. Still, Latinos were never slaves in America, and that is where many of these issues began.

Some have learned subliminally; blacks are less than; they are thieves; they will steal from you, so don’t leave your things unattended when they’re around.

The Equal Rights Amendment, first proposed in 1923; it is a proposed amendment to the U. S. Constitution designed to guarantee equal legal rights for all American citizens regardless of sex. It seeks to end the traditional distinction between men and women in divorce, property, employment, and other issues. 38 U. S. states have ratified the ERA. It needs to be confirmed by the twelve remaining states, then signed into law by all.

America needs the ERA to be the law of the land – it will put us on the road to equality.

In 2019, 259 Black people were killed by police in the United States. By comparison, 182 Hispanics, 13 Native Americans, and 406 White people died. Black Americans’ rate of police shootings is much higher than any other ethnicity, at 30 per million people. This rate stands at 23 per million for Hispanics and 12 per million for Whites.

BLM & Socialism are not solutions to this problem.

America must re-evaluate who she is and who she wants to be going forward.

It may be time to re-evaluate our constitution and come to some joint agreements about our current and future needs by having town hall meetings across America.

For America to change, people in law enforcement, politics, education, religion, and others will need to retire or leave the office.

America will have to hit the reset button.

I think it will take a catastrophic event for our country to change. An event that would unite our country in a way that 9/11 didn’t.

Unfortunately, President Trump feeds much of the racial tensions by continuing to adopt policies that separate and divide various parts of the population, including the LGBTQ communities.

HATE IS HATE MR. PRESIDENT. Maybe it is time for you to go back to your real estate business and rebuild your brand!

I do not think Electing Joe Biden or Kamala Harris is going to fix this issue either.

Biden has not said anything about the democratically controlled cities currently having meltdowns in some cities.

Much of these issues seem to exist pre-dating Trump’s Presidency.

Which means they also existed under Obama? Wasn’t Biden VP then?

If Biden and Obama were not able to fix the issue, Biden and Harris won’t either.

Until next time,
